The ICMA has announced that they will be changing the CMA Exam from a four-part exam to a two-part exam. The
Current 4-part Exam will be offered until December 31, 2010. Enrollment into the New 2-part Exam
program will begin in Spring 2010, and it will be available at Prometric testing centers beginning May 1, 2010.
New Learning Outcome Statements and Content Specification Outlines have been provided for the New 2-part Exam.
These new guidelines will allow the CMA designation, which continues to be a career-enhancing credential valued
and sought by employers, to align even more closely with the critical knowledge and skills accountants and financial
professionals use every day.
Gleim will continue to provide materials for the Current 4-part Exam, which is the four-part program, until
it ceases to be offered by the ICMA (December 31, 2010). If you have already taken at least one part in the
Current 4-part Exam, Gleim recommends that you continue in the current program and use the Gleim 14th
Edition CMA Review materials. (You must finish all four parts in the Current 4-part Exam by December 31, 2010.)
Gleim has also developed materials for the New 2-part Exam, which is the two-part program. If you have not taken any parts
of the Current 4-part Exam, Gleim recommends that you enroll in the New 2-part Exam program and use the Gleim 15th
Edition CMA Review materials.
If you have questions about which exam you should take (Current 4-part Exam or New 2-part Exam) or which materials you should
purchase (14th Edition or 15th Edition) or if you would like more information about these changes,
