8. Sit for and PASS the CPA exam while you are in control.

Introduction

By following the Gleim "Steps to Become a CPA," you will be in control as you take each section of the CPA exam. Exam focus, examination strategies, and a control system for taking each section of the CPA exam will ensure that you maximize your exam scores.

The purpose of this step is to prepare you for what to expect and how to react during your CPA examination. The pass rate on the CPA exam has been about 45% on each section, so you will have to be better than three-fifths of your peers taking the exam in order to pass. Your amount of preparation will parallel how confident and in control you will be during the examination.
