I purchased Gleim at the time the CPA exam was doing its very first computer testing. Since no one had taken the computer version, there was no one to get advice from because CPAs only had the written test to talk about. I have a pilot friend who said that he used the Gleim products to help him with his aviation tests and really liked how they were set up. It was good enough for me. On my way to work, I would listen to a cassette tape. It gave me great inspiration to keep a positive attitude. I worked six days a week and rested on Sunday with no studying. I napped when I needed to and got a little exercise in between to break up the time.

Because I had such a good experience with the CPA study program, I have purchased self-study CPE from Gleim every year since. The topics are current, pertinent, and arranged so that I learn more than I do sitting through an entire day of a live speaker. I highly recommend the Gleim program to any CPA candidates who want to succeed. By the way, I have taken a few flying lessons in a Cessna 172. If I decide to get a pilot's license, I will purchase the Gleim aviation program.

The Gleim CPE courses are convenient for busy professionals and provide just the right training on topics that auditors use. The details of the subject material are useful to me in my current job functions.

I used the Gleim outlines and problem/solutions manuals to study for the November, 1977 CPA exam. Other candidates gathered as much material as they could to study for the exam. I learn better by eliminating excess detail and concentrating on the key elements of study. The Gleim outlines provided the core information that I needed to learn without overkill. I studied them for 1 our a day and worked problems in the problem/solutions manuals for 1 hour a day for six months leading up to the exam. I was able to pass the exam in one sitting, which only 6% of the candidates were able to do. Since that time, I have used Gleim for much of my CPE and have been very satisfied with the price, presentation, and accuracy of the courses provided.

I have now completed more than 100 hours of Gleim CPE, and am very pleased with what I feel has been an excellent learning experience. My primary reasons for using Gleim CPE in the beginning were the convenience of the online approach and the affordability factor. As I have progressed through the courses, I have found them to be high-quality and challenging courses, and a good resource for researching cases in which I have been engaged. So, overall, my experience with Gleim CPE has been very satisfactory and I plan to continue using these courses for a majority of my CPE hours. Finally, I have found the staff to be both knowledgeable and very amiable, and that has also been a big help to me.

I have been a lawyer for many years but only this year became an Enrolled Agent. I decided to get started on the 72 hour CPE requirement and selected Gleim online for my provider. Just this morning, I completed my 24 hours for this year. I am very impressed with the high quality and level of sophistication of Gleim's online taxation CPE courses. I learned a great deal about tax accounting in enough detail that I feel much more confidence in myself as a practitioner. Users be warned, however: Gleim doesn't give anything away. I worked hard to learn the material and pass each of the online final quizzes.
