AOPA Air Safety Foundation - This site, including the Online Safety Center, provides the most comprehensive collection of safety information available and allows pilots to continue to improve their knowledge of air safety. ASF's vital collection of safety data and resources include: online courses and safety quizzes; a library of publications such as Safety Advisors, Safety Briefs, and the Nall Report; the comprehensive Accident Database, and much more.

National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) - The National Transportation Safety Board is an independent Federal agency charged by Congress with investigating every civil aviation accident in the United States and significant accidents in the other modes of transportation -- railroad, highway, marine and pipeline -- and issuing safety recommendations aimed at preventing future accidents.
