| Thank you for providing excellent Private Pilot training material! I took my written test for my license on December 11, 2009, and passed with a 93%. The Gleim material had me well prepared for the exam.
When I started working on my license, my CFI suggested using the Gleim system. He didn't steer me wrong. The comprehensive program made me feel very confident in taking the written exam. What helped me the most was taking the practice exams on my computer using the CD with all of the practice testing options. Reviewing what I had answered incorrectly and understanding why I had answered incorrectly by using the correct follow up answers from the CD proved most helpful.

| I'd like to thank all those at Gleim who helped me to achieve a 96% on the FAA Commercial exam. I studied your red book for many many months and sent a few inquiries to you. Several on your staff helped me. Again, I want to thank you a million.
If I'd not had the Gleim book I'd probably have schlepped by with another [bad] grade [and a] poor understanding of what was covered. The answers in the Gleim book helped me to learn huge amounts that I'd otherwise have never ever learned. As a result I am a way way safer pilot. Matter of fact, if I ever find the time I think I'll go back and buy the Gleim book on IFR and learn it properly and maybe even retake the FAA exam just for satisfaction. Oh, and I bought the Gleim CD-ROM and it too was a huge help!

| I tried other CFI renewal courses, but I find the CFI renewal course from Gleim to be the most effective at transfering the knowledge I need to be an effective Instructor and a more learned pilot.
Their logical format and protocol makes it easy in learning the material and more importantly, understanding it.

| This is at least the third time I have used the Gleim FIRC course. I have considered others, but each time I come back to Gleim. Why would I want to change?! Each time I'm given an outstanding review of pertinent information for me to remain fresh on as an instructor. At the same time, I've always been informed of a few changes that I'd either forgotten or overlooked.
Each time I complete the Gleim FIRC, I believe I've been better equipped to be an effective instructor and that has been borne out by subsequent comments from a number of my students.
I have recommended this course to all the instructors I've worked with or met. To the last, everyone who has taken my advice has made sure to thank me and confirmed my recommendation: Gleim is the FIRC course to use in renewing your certificate and improving as an instructor. I have nothing but positive things to say and MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Gleim FIRC!!! |

| This is my first time renewing my CFI using a FIRC. and is the best course I found online. AOPA weekend courses didnt fit my work schedule. and I American Flyers, though cheap was not engaging and I couldnt sit through it.
With Gleim you could download the course chapters and read it off line, then take the quiz later. I made four transcontinental trips this week(in 6 days). I got 12 chapters done. So even when I was cooped up in an airplane, as long as I had my laptop, I could progress; with or without connection to the internet.
For anyone who has renewed with a mere rating every 2years, I strongly recommend you supplement it with this system. There are MANY changes since I last was a full time flight instructor. Some really interesting and fun sounding things are being done in light GA now.
Gleim worked best best for me because they understand the learning process. They may not have cool videos. And they may not be the cheapest. But they are the best. |

| The outlines on all of the lessons are very detailed. They don't just give the rote information needed to pass the quizzes; they offer helpful tips to use while instructing. Some of the examples and advice for explaining difficult concepts are presented in ways I wouldn't have thought of. |

| A year after the water rating I was determined to get my instrument rating and the first thing my new instructor told me to do was get through the Gleim instrument course. Subsequently, I did very good on the written and passed the practical on the first try. While I credit my instructor with bringing my flying skills into the 21st century, my IFR rating could not have been achieved without the Gleim course. |

| I really think that it is a great service to the aviation community that Gleim provides with its training materials and therefore I was particularly happy to see that Gleim has put together this seaplane course. While there are some other water flying training programs out there, the application of the Gleim approach to seaplane ops is a great resource for both aviation students and experienced pilots. |

| Very sound techniques with proper emphasis on Situational Awareness Only for VOR/ILS approaches. I strongly agree with the habit pattern of setting all approaches in the GPS and following the prompts.
Proper emphasis on reviewing points in the approach, a weak point I've seen frequently. |

This is as advertised, A great way to get the brain warmed up for the upcoming exercise.

This brings to light things that have been place way back in my mind and that should be at the front for safety.
Multiple Choice: Excellent.
Again this was arranged in a manner that made me think twice about a couple of questions. It's to easy to shoot from the hip, you must think before answering.

| What's great about [the G530 course] is allowing (and requiring) the student to turn the knobs. | The method of quizzing was very good with emphasizing less key strokes the better the score. This promotes less heads down in the cockpit and more concentration on flying the airplane as well as looking inside and outside, thus promoting better collision avoidance and situational awareness. sole reason why I pass with flying colors on every FAA
written exam I have ever taken. If you study consistently
and follow the course, you certainly will not only pass, but
get a great score on the exam. I have never scored below a
94% and I have taken 7 FAA written exams, using Gleim for
each one. I do not recommend any other learning system to
any of my students or fellow pilots. Gleim is it! |

| I thoroughly enjoy Gleim's FIRC for its format, information content,
& convenience. The format of the course is excellent with the True /
False portion serving as an excellent baseline knowledge test & personal
review. The lesson outlines are very informative, well organized, &
serve as excellent reference sources (after the course) - very well
done! The convenience of the course is impossible to beat since I can
complete a lesson anywhere (with my laptop) on my schedule. Living in a
relatively small city, I especially like not having to travel to a major
metropolitian area to complete a weekend CFI Refresher course.
Over the years I have renewed my CFI every which way (ie, check ride,
weekend course, other Companies' Refresher Courses) and continue to
find Gleim the best! I plan to use Gleim again & again. Gleim has my
highest recommendation! |

| This is the second or third time I've taken the Gleim FIRC and I'll
be back in two years. My schedule, like everyone, is pretty maxed out at
times. Being able to complete my FIRC at my own speed as time permits is
the most convenient way for me to do it. It's nice to attend a course
with other CFI's if you have the time and money for the interaction
part, but to be honest, I don't want to spend my time in a classroom on
a rigid schedule. Your course is very well put together, provides
all of the information needed to stay current on changes that have taken
place and provide me with a nice reference source. Good Job! |

I used the Gleim package combined with a two hour weekly meeting with my flight instructor to study independently. I took the test three months from the date I received your package and, yesterday, I "aced" the exam.
