The Gleim Watching Airplanes Course (WAC) is an introduction and overview of the aviation system of the United States. This course will help you turn your casual interest in aviation into an educated passion.
WAC is made up of 7 study units that use exciting, vivid video presentations to illustrate various aspects of airport and airplane operations. You will learn how to find an airport near you and how operations at that airport work. You will also learn how to schedule a visit to your local airport and how to take the next step and becoming a pilot.
The Gleim Aviation Radio Receiver lets you listen in on aircraft and air traffic control communications. Now, when you visit your local airport, you can see and hear what is going on. The radio is incredibly easy to use. You can even program in up to 100 favorite frequencies for easy access at any time.
This radio has been specifically designed to be used in conjunction with The Gleim Watching Airplanes Course, a video-led journey into the world of aviation.
The Gleim WAC is divided into 7 study units. Each study unit focuses on increasing your knowledge of various airport operations subjects. The average completion time is 30 minutes per study unit.
