A Hardware Key is a string of numbers and letters that is specific to your computer. No other computer has the same Hardware Key as yours. Please remember that the License Agreement states that you have the right to install our Test Prep Software on up to two (2) computers; any more than that is a violation of the License Agreement. If the Test Prep Software detects that it has been installed on two or more computers previously, it will not allow the activation process to complete.

Activation Codes are unique to every computer. Activation Codes will only work on the computer they were generated for.

In a Study Session, you receive immediate feedback for each question, your answer is immediately scored, and the correct answer is explained. In a Test Session, however, you will not know if you have selected correct or incorrect answers until you grade the entire test.

Getting Started
We offer ACR (or Airman Certificate Renewal) processing for those pilots who do not have the time to go down to their local FSDO to renew. For a nominal fee, we at Gleim will process your renewal paperwork and send you back your temporary license.
Once you complete our FIRC course, you will need to mail us your Certificate of Completion, your signed 8710 form, your notarized Official Identification Document, and your original CFI Certificate. All of these documents must be originals. (All of this is explained in further detail on the FIRC webpage.) Once we receive your paperwork, we will process your renewal and mail back your temporary certificate in 7 to 10 business days. You will receive your new CFI certificate from the FAA 120 days later.

Navigating the Course
To save an outline that you are viewing in HTML format, click on File at the top Menubar of Internet Explorer, and select Save As.
In Internet Explorer, click Favorites in the Menubar, then click Add Favorite. You can use the bookmarks to jump quickly and easily to the FIRC login or main index page.
If you were interrupted during a true/false study session, you will be taken back to the last question you answered, and all previous answers will have been saved. If you were interrupted during a multiple-choice test, you will be taken back to the outline page, but your work will still be saved.
Although you can return to outlines for completed lessons, you cannot return to questions that you have already answered.
Graduating and Renewing
If Gleim handles your ACR processing, here's what needs to happen before your date of expiration:
