Does my login name have to be my email address?

Yes, your email address will be your login name, and it must be a valid email address. We will use your email address to deliver important information and services to you.

Is my credit card information secure?

Yes, your credit card information is secure when you place an order through our website. Gleim wants you to feel secure when ordering our products online. For this reason, we use the Apache web server with SSL encryption. This means it will secure the transfer of data over the web. Click here for more information about the Gleim Secure Server.

Are my name, phone number, address, and other personal information kept confidential by Gleim Publications?

Gleim Publications does not share, sell, or divulge your personal information. Your personal information will be used only by Gleim Publications (and the FAA, if you are taking FIRC for CFI renewal).

How do I reset my Gleim Online Account password?

  1. Go to the Gleim home page: http://www.gleim.com.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Click on the Account Info button on the left.
  4. You may update your password and other personal information from this page.

I can't log in to my account!

In the event that you have forgotten your password, you can have it reset by emailing a temporary password to the address you use to log in. You can do this by clicking the "Forgot your password" link shown on most login screens. If you unsuccessfully attempt to log in three times, you will also be presented with an option to reset your password. If you have forgotten your login username, please contact Gleim Technical Support by filling out our Help Request form or by emailing us at support@gleim.com.

I have an account with another Gleim Online service. Am I a new user or a return user?

If you have an account with any of the Gleim online services, you are a return user. At any login page, simply enter your username and password in the appropriate fields.

How do I enable cookies?

  • If you are using the latest version of Microsoft Edge:

    1. Click the three-dot More Actions button on the top right.
    2. Select Settings from the menu below it.
    3. Scroll down and click View Advanced Settings.
    4. Find the Cookies field and press its dropdown arrow.
    5. Select Block Only Third Party Cookies, or Don’t Block Cookies.

  • If you are using the latest version of Microsoft Internet Explorer:

    1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
    2. Click on the Privacy tab.
    3. Click the Default button or manually slide the bar down to Medium under "Settings."
    4. Click Apply and then OK when finished.

  • If you are using the latest version of Mozilla Firefox:

    1. Select Options from the Tools menu.
    2. Click on the Privacy button on the left.
    3. Click on the drop-down menu in the History section and select Remember History.
    4. Click OK when finished.

  • If you are using the latest version of Apple Safari on Mac OS X:

    1. Select Safari from menu bar at the top.
    2. In the drop-down menu, select "Preferences..."
    3. In the window that appears, click the "Privacy" tab at the top.
    4. In the Cookies and website data section select either the "Allow from websites I visit" or the "Always allow" radio button.
    5. Close the window when finished.

  • If you are using the latest version of Google Chrome:

    1. Select Settings from the Chrome settings menu, which is the icon with three horizontal lines in the top right corner of the browser.
    2. Click "Show advanced settings" at the bottom of the page.
    3. Find the Privacy section and click the "Content settings" button.
    4. Select the "Allow local data to be set (recommended)" radio button.
    5. Check the box next to "Block third-party cookies and site data."
    6. Click Done when finished.

I'm unable to view the outlines. What should I do?

If a Gleim PDF outline is not opening, you may need to install the latest version of Adobe Reader. Follow these instructions to install or update Adobe Reader on your computer.

  1. Click here to access the free download of Adobe Reader.
  2. Click the Install Now button.
  3. Click Save or Save File in the box that appears.
  4. Once the file is downloaded, run the file.
  5. Wait a few moments for Adobe Reader to install. Click Finish once the program has finished installing.
  6. Restart your browser and try to view the outlines again.

I am unable to view the Audiovisual Presentations. What should I do?

Our Audiovisual Presentations are created with Adobe Flash. If you receive an error when trying to access the Audiovisual Presentations, follow the instructions below to install or update Adobe Flash on your computer.

  1. Click here to update or install Adobe Flash.
  2. Click the Install Now button.
  3. Click Save or Save File in the box that appears.
  4. Once the file is downloaded, run the file.
  5. Select the "Allow Adobe to install updates(recommended)" option if it is not selected automatically. Click Next.
  6. Wait a few moments for Adobe Flash Player to install. Click Finish once the program has finished installing.
  7. Restart your browser and try to view the Audiovisual Presentations again.
