7/2/04 Simulations, Scrolling through the Standards Window

We’ve received more recent feedback regarding the Simulations in the CPA exam. One candidate had this to say about the Standards window.

In the CPA exam there is no way to avoid returning near the top of the standard once you click out of the pop-up window that the standards appear in. The main problem with this is that it is time consuming to have to re-scroll through a standard to try to relocate the paragraphs that you want. It may be better for a candidate to scroll through and jot down on scratch paper all the paragraph numbers of the paragraphs that they want to use when they first scroll through the standard. Then they could copy and paste each paragraph at a time.

We highly recommend practice with Simulations prior to sitting for each section of the CPA exam. You’ll know the ins and outs of the software saving you valuable test time. Use Gleim’s Simulation Wizard and Review Online to practice Simulations, complete with answer explanations.
