Hello again CPA candidates!
With the holiday season in full swing, I realize that many of you may not even be thinking about the CPA exam. But I also know that there are a good number of you who are already studying hard to sit for a section in the first window.
Gleim has breaking news from NASBA regarding a change for CPA candidates testing in 2013. Beginning on January 2, 2013 (the start of the next testing window), candidates will no longer be provided with pencils or paper. Instead, candidates will be given noteboards, which are laminated, double-sided sheets.
In lieu of pencils, candidates will be given a fine-tip pen or marker to write with on the noteboards. To identify your noteboard for the test administrators, you will need to write your launch code on it. Throughout the exam, you should use this noteboard to write notes to yourself, jot down important formulas, and anything else you need to refer to.
Please call us if you have any questions regarding this change. You can also find more information in NASBA’s CPA Candidate Bulletin.
For those of you hitting the books amid holiday celebrations and travel: Don’t let all of the distractions of the season keep you from studying. Make sure you are able to stay on your study schedule. The Q1 testing window will be here before you know it!
Good luck in the New Year!
