Question: What is the process to register and sit for the EA Exam?
Answer: In order to sit for your first part of the EA exam, you must (1) obtain a PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) from the IRS, (2) register for the part, and (3) schedule an appointment to take that part with Prometric. For subsequent parts, you only need to register for the part and schedule the appointment.
