How to pass the EA Exam – Step 1
Become knowledgeable about the exam. The purpose of this introduction is to explain the IRS Special Enrollment Examination (which you may see abbreviated SEE). We refer to it as the Enrolled Agent examination, or EA exam. The IRS contracts with Prometric to develop and administer the EA exam to ensure the technical competence and ethical appreciation of persons (other than attorneys and Certified Public Accountants) who practice before the Internal Revenue Service.
