I am an independent Flight Instructor (CFI, CFII & MEI). As an independent instructor I work for you, not a flight school; I have only your best interest in mind! I am retired and I’m not looking to build hours as a CFI in order to work my way through the aviation industry. I am a flight instructor because flying is a passion of mine! I am available to come to you or meet somewhere in the middle, I am based in the west metro area of Phoenix.

I have a wide range of experience including building and flying experimental aircraft, technically advanced aircraft, instrument flying/instruction, tail wheel, ski flying, high performance, complex and so forth. I’m interested in helping with just about anything, including primary, instrument flight training, simulator based training, Instrument Proficiency Check (IPC), Flight Review or any other services needed to make you a safer pilot. I own an FAA approved simulator which can be used toward an instrument rating or resetting instrument currency. I have a flexible schedule and I have very reasonable rates.
