Steps to Become a CIA
- Become knowledgeable about the exam, and determine which part of the exam you will take first.
- Purchase the Gleim CIA Review System (including books, Test Prep CD-Rom, Test Prep for Pocket PC, Audio CDs, and Gleim Online with your Personal Counselor) to thoroughly prepare for the CIA exam.
- Communicate with your Personal Counselor to design a study plan that meets your needs. Call (800)874-5346 or email CIA@gleim.com.
- Create a profile with the IIA. Then, apply and register for authorization to schedule the CIA exam part you wish to take.
- Schedule your exam with Pearson VUE (online or call center).
- Work systematically through each study unit in the Gleim CIA Review System.
