CIA Test Prep Software Installation

How do I install my Test Prep Software?

  1. Close all programs before you attempt to install this Test Prep Software, including any virus scan software.

  2. Insert your Test Prep CD into the CD-Rom drive and wait for a minute or two to determine which of the following applies to you.*

    * Note: Software Download does not require you to use a CD. Instead, run the installation by downloading the Software from your personal classroom and continue with step C.

  3. If a Setup screen (Autoplay Window) appears after you insert the CD, please use these instructions:
    1. Click the Install Test Prep button on the Autorun Screen.
    2. Click the Next button on the first Setup screen that appears.
    3. Select Single User or Network depending on your license agreement.*
      NOTE: If your license agreement is for the Network Install, a net letter will be provided containing all of the installation instructions that are needed.
    4. Click Next.
    5. Select either the (default)Automatic or Custom install. We recommend using the default setting on this screen.
    6. Click Install.
    7. After the installation is complete, you will be given the opportunity to activate your Test Prep Software. To do so, follow these instructions.

    * Note: 2009 and higher versions of Test Prep Software do not allow you to select between Single User and Network editions.

  4. If no screen appears after you have inserted the CD, please use the following instructions:
    1. Double click the My Computer icon on your desktop.
    2. Double click your CD-Rom drive.
    3. Double click the setup.exe file.
    4. Follow the steps 1-7 listed above under C.

  5. If you do not have an Activation Code, call us to activate your Test Prep Software!
Note: If you do not accept the default installation directory, do NOT abort setup, as this may erase other files contained in the destination directory you have chosen.
