International CPA Candidate Information

Why Gleim is better for International CPA Candidates

  • Gleim Review Systems are easy to use and understand.
  • The materials are designed in a linear format, which is best for persons whose native language is not English.
  • Dr. Gleim is a first-generation American, has traveled extensively, and is very conscious of communication difficulties.
  • Below is a typical success story we receive from international candidates regarding our products:

"I would like to convey that all our students who appeared for the CPA examination in May are unanimous about the fact that Gleim material covered all the topics that were tested on the exam."

Should you sit in the U.S. or outside of the U.S.?

International Candidates Taking CPA outside the U.S.

In August 2011, the CPA Examination was offered outside of the 55 US jurisdictions for the first time in history.

Dr.Gleim has always been a proponent for the international administration of the CPA Exam. See the article below, printed in the December 2001 issue of The CPA Journal, showing Dr.Gleim's foresight in fighting for international administration of the CPA exam. Dr.Gleim and the team at Gleim Publications will continue to lobby for additional international locations, such as in India.

International Candidates Taking CPA in the U.S.

Candidates of a non-participating jurisdiction/state board may take the test only at approved testing centers in the U.S., Guam, Puerto Rico, or the Virgin Islands.

IQEX was designed by NASBA for participating states to test the differences between the accounting and auditing practices of the United States and the relevant accounting and auditing practices of certain other countries. Currently, these countries are Canada, Australia, Ireland, Mexico, Hong Kong, and New Zealand.
