Email subject: Nice to meet you!

(Professor)
,

My name is (Insert Name). I am a student in your department and I represent Gleim at (School). My main responsibility is to be a resource to other students for information on various accounting certifications.

I am reaching out to let you know you know that I’m also a resource for professors. Gleim is used by more top 10 accounting programs than any other provider. You can find information about the various resources Gleim offers to assist professors on their website. You can request your free desk copy of Gleim CPA, CMA, CIA, or EA Review. Feel free to learn more by calling their Professor Relations team at 800.874.5346, ext. 658.

Gleim also offers special discounts on their review courses to help professors earn their
certifications. You can get the details here.

I’m providing the following free resources you can share with your students.

Gleim also offers free exam guides for CPA, CMA, CIA, and EA. If your students are interested in accessing them, please direct them to gleim.com to download the guides.

Additionally, Gleim would like to offer a scholarship to one student in your class. They will receive one Premium Gleim Review section or part of his/her choice (CPA, CMA, CIA, or EA). You may choose which student to award the scholarship at the end of the semester. After you decide which student earned the scholarship, please let me know, or email campus.rep@gleim.com.

Finally, here are more details about the Gleim Campus Rep program. The program will help your students jump start their future in accounting and allow them to earn a free review system of their choice. They can apply for the position on the website. They can also request more information by contacting the Campus Rep Coordinator at campus.rep@gleim.com or by texting CR to (708) 634- 5346. If you have any students you would like to refer, I’m happy to speak with them or get them in contact with the program coordinator.

Please reach out to me if you have any questions. I look forward to working with you throughout my time as a Campus Rep. Thanks for your time.

Regards,

Optional

For an additional 3 points, find out who the VITA faculty advisor/professor is at your school and connect with them. If there is not a VITA professor, reach out to the tax professor. Use the VITA handouts and one of the EA Exam Guides provided to you in the Campus Rep welcome box to give to the professor/faculty advisor. You may use the VITA introduction email template below. After you meet/connect with the professor, submit the contact information on one of the lines provided in the Professor Connections Fillable PDF. Please make it clear in the “classes taught” space that they are the tax professor or VITA advisor.
