Welcome, Campus Reps!

Welcome to the spring 2021 semester of the Gleim Campus Rep program. Here are a few reminders to help you navigate the program smoothly this semester.

First, if you haven’t already, join our private social groups to stay informed about the program and receive Gleim updates. In these groups you will also see Gleim social posts you can promote to earn points by sharing, liking, or commenting on the original post. You can find these Campus Rep groups on Facebook and Instagram. Keep in mind that for Facebook, you must first friend request the Campus Rep Coordinator’s Facebook work account to get into the private group.

We also have a Campus Rep Twitter page, but it’s not a private group. You can use it to retweet Gleim content; tag it if you would like any accounting-related content retweeted. You may also use the tag if you have a post you’d like to earn points for, such as a photo of you in your Gleim face mask or Gleim t-shirt. Use the hashtag #GleimCampusRep to make sure I know the tweet needs to go toward your points.

Next, if you have not submitted it, please email your monthly check in report. You will need to include

  • what tasks you plan to complete this month,
  • what tasks you anticipate will be challenging this month, if anything, and
  • any questions or concerns you have about the program.

Please let me know if you need any Campus Rep marketing materials or if you have not yet had your marketing box shipped to you.

Here are other tasks you can complete at the start of this semester:

  • Schedule of events
    • Send in a Word document or Excel spreadsheet that lists which accounting events your campus is hosting (virtual or onsite).
      • You can include accounting meetings, job fairs, presentations or focus groups that you plan to host. Include the dates and title of each event.
      • This is a mandatory task that needs to be submitted within the first month of the semester.
  • Professor Connections
    • Send an email requesting the email template, that you can use to send your professors.
      • It includes a Gleim scholarship the professors can give to one of their students.
      • Additionally, it serves as an ice breaker to schedule a day to give your presentation.
      • This is a mandatory task that ideally needs to be completed at the start of the semester.
  • Accounting Club Connections
    • Similar to the professor connections task, you can connect with accounting clubs and their officers in order to introduce yourself and coordinate a day to host a Focus Group or present your Gleim presentation.
      • Remember, the presentation is already built for you, along with the script.

Send an email to campus.rep@gleim.com to receive the guidelines and resources you need for any of these tasks.

Have a great spring semester!
