Question: While I was taking the EA exam I think I found an error, can I give you the question to tell me if I am correct or not?
Answer: Unfortunately, the EA exam is a non-disclosed exam, and we are unable to answer your inquiry, if it pertains to a question from the EA exam that has not been released to the public. Until released to the public, information from the EA exam is considered confidential and therefore it would be unethical of us to respond to your questions in this case.
Please recall when you took your exam you agreed to the non-disclosure statement. It read, “This exam is confidential and proprietary. It is made available to you, the examinee, solely for the purpose of assessing your proficiency level in the skill area referenced in the title of this exam. You are expressly prohibited from disclosing, publishing, reproducing, or transmitting this exam, in whole or in part, in any form or by any means, verbal or written, electronic or mechanical, for any purpose, without the prior express written permission of the IRS.”
Gleim is happy to answer any questions that specifically pertain to our review materials. Let us know where you were studying (book, online course, software), the study unit and any specific question that you are having trouble with. Our accounting experts will send you detailed explanations to help you understand that topic.
To maintain our competitive edge, however, we ask that EA candidates provide feedback on how to improve our books, software, audio reviews and and online programs with emphasis on topics to be strengthened and/or added. We provide evaluation and feedback forms at the back of each of our books. Or you can submit feedback through the “Course Evaluation” link in the Gleim Online course or by emailing us at email@example.com. This process has been approved by the IRS.
