Registration Open for International Candidates
As international demand for U.S. CPA licensure continues to grow, more international testing locations are needed. The AICPA, NASBA, and Prometric recently announced that administration of the Uniform CPA examination will be offered in Brazil starting in February 2012.
The U.S. CPA exam is being offered internationally for the first time due to rapidly escalating international demand for U.S. CPA licensure, whereby more than 10,000 candidates traveled to the U.S. last year to take the exam marking a 22% increase from 2009.
International candidates who wish to sit in Japan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Lebanon, the United Arab Emirates, and now Brazil need to apply through one of the participating state boards of accountancy.
