GLEIM Financial Accounting Made Easy is an introductory course for people interested in learning how to prepare and use financial statements. It is particularly helpful to those struggling to understand the double entry system and basic bookkeeping process. We use a fictitious entity, Re-Cycler Bicycle Company as an example. This Course has 11 study units:

  2. The Accounting Process
  3. The Basic and Expanded Accounting Equations
  4. Debits and Credits
  5. Recording Transactions
  6. Posting Journal Entries to Ledger Accounts
  7. Deferrals, Accruals, and Adjusting Entries

  10. Financial Accounting Error Analysis
  11. Financial Analysis

Each study unit takes 1-2 hours to complete and consists of the following:
